Barn conversion with ground source heat pump, and subtle photovoltaic electricity production integrated into the roof.

Natural materials were used extensively in this project to convert an historic barn to 2 new residential units.

The site was a sensitive one, within the curtilage of, and facing a listed building.

New private courtyards were formed to the rear of the main historic barn, and this is where most of the collection of solar energy takes place.
